Law Offices of Martin A. Carlson, Ltd.

Whether you are a victim of consumer fraud, at risk of losing your home to foreclosure, or facing the potentially devastating consequences of a DWI-related driver’s license revocation, you need good counsel and aggressive advocacy. At the Law Offices of Martin A. Carlson, Ltd., you can expect both.

Since joining the Minnesota Bar, Marty Carlson has fought aggressively to protect the rights of his clients and achieve their goals both in and out of the courtroom. Marty has successfully tried approximately 300 cases, and has appeared for court in more than 60 of Minnesota’s 87 counties. Marty has experience handling both state and federal appeals, and has worked on matters as diverse as complex commercial litigation, consumer class actions, and DWI-related implied consent proceedings.

As an associate attorney with a well-respected Minneapolis law firm, Marty helped litigate claims under the Minnesota Consumer Fraud Act and the Deceptive Trade Practices Act. As an Assistant Attorney General, Marty represented the State of Minnesota in litigating these same types of claims. During this time, Marty placed special emphasis on combating the pernicious effects of home equity stripping, a predatory and abusive practice targeted at homeowners in foreclosure. In his last years at the Attorney General’s Office, Marty represented the Commissioner of Public Safety in a variety of DWI-related matters, and acquired a statewide reputation for aggressive but fair trial advocacy.

At the Law Offices of Martin A. Carlson, Ltd., Marty can put his experience to work for you, providing legal representation that is understandable, affordable and – above all – effective.
